KARA - A Korean girl group under DSP Entertainment - is composed of Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Jung Nicole, Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung. They debuted in 2007 with their first album 'The First Blooming' as a quartet (Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole and the former Kim Seunghee) but unfortunately Kim Seunghee resigned from a group so the management had to brought in the new members - Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung. The Group came back with their first mini-album 'Rock U'
They achieve their first no.1 song with 'Honey' in 2009. In July 2009, the group released their second album 'Revolution'. The album had their hit single 'Mister' with their famous 'Butt-Dance', that helped increase the group's popularity.

In 1010, the group had their debut in Japan with their most popular song 'Mister' and it was really successful step for them in Japan. They were dubbed as 'Japan's No.1 Rookie Artist 1010' by Oricon and won 'New Artist of the year Award (International)' from Japan Golden Disc Awards.
Following their success, in 2011, they topped Oricon weekly Single Chart with their third single 'Jet Coaster Love', making them the first foreign female group ever to rank no.1 in the first week of release. ![]() |

In 2012, the group held their first solo concert 'KARASIA' both in Korea and Japan. The ticket have been sold out in a very short time. KARASIA in Seoul was held at Seoul Olympic Park on 18-19 Feb then they kicked off their tour in Japan for 12 shows in 6 cities - Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Tokyo and Saitama. The tour drew around 150,000 people with every seat of each concert being sold. The last concert was broadcast live through in streaming in sixties cinema around Japan and all the ticket was sold out as well.
Moreover, they held their dream concert at Tokyo Dome 'KARASIA 2013 Happy New Year in Tokyo Dome' on 6 Jan. 55,000 audience filled all the seats and all of the tickets was sold out in about 5 minutes!!
